Hi, I'm Josh Chance and I’m the owner of Chance Farm, a vegetable farm that has operated in Gallatin Valley since 2018. I moved to Bozeman in 2016, and have lived in the Rocky Mountain region for 15 years. I discovered my passion for growing food in 2011 while taking part in a permaculture design course in Boulder, CO. Over the next 6 years that passion drove me to pursue work with farms in Colorado, Vermont, Texas, and finally Gallatin Valley. Throughout my growing journey, I have learned that there are so many facets to explore and evolve in producing for the local community as a farmer and business owner. That is what energizes me in my journey. I hope we get a chance to grow together!

We follow organic practices, but are not yet certified. We began farming at our current Rocky Road location in 2022 and are working towards Organic Certification.
