About Us
Crazy Mountain Kitchen's (CMK) Signature Almond Maple Granola was birthed from Faith Magalsky's work as a busy mom and caterer who wanted a naturally gluten free, healthy, wholesome, and versatile food that would fuel her family. A native of Montana, Faith grew up in the Shields Valley with her parents and five siblings. Her family helped nurture a passion and love for food and serving others that is unparalleled. Early on, she learned how food is integral to what brings people together to create lasting memories.

Faith’s diverse culinary background was gained by working in Wisconsin, Vermont, and Boston as well as here in Montana. Faith holds a food and beverage management degree from New England Culinary Institute. It was here that Faith was able to grow her management and business skills to prepare her for opening Crazy Mountain Catering successfully in the Spring of 2004.
Practices

This Montana made, locally sourced, small batch granola not only feeds you, but also fights hunger through our "Every Plate Matters" Campaign.

Every Plate Matters Campaign: Crazy Mountain Catering believes that it is important that people are fed both here in Montana and around the world. That is why we have created the “Every Plate Matters” campaign. Through Every Plate Matters, Crazy Mountain Catering is committed to giving back 5% of profits from each sale to fight hunger both locally and abroad.

Loaves & Fishes: We partner with organizations like Loaves & Fishes – Livingston’s soup kitchen – by volunteering regularly to cook, donating delicious catering leftovers, and giving financially.

Children Relief International: Faith traveled to Mozambique and experienced first hand the important work of Children's Relief International. Crazy Mountain Catering now financially supports a program that teaches mothers how to utilize healthy local ingredients to better satiate themselves and their families.

Livingston Food Resource Center: We also support the Livingston Food Resource Center, whose mission is to help eliminate hunger in Livingston and Park County through the acquisition and distribution of healthful food to individuals and families in need; to play a leadership role in the development of a strong, sustainable, local food system; to address the root causes of hunger in Livingston and Park County; and, to support food related economic development efforts that will drive the creation of new jobs.

Heifer International: Faith also supports Heifer International. Heifer International's mission is to work with communities to end world hunger and poverty and to care for the Earth.
